The Famous Honey Badger is Here to Once Again Promote Tradie Underwear


Nick Cummins made headlines last year when he was introduced as the new bachelor in Channel Ten’s reality TV show of the same name, and many of his pictures featured him wearing our iconic underwear and workwear.
“That made us known to a lot more Australians and sales spiked for sure. It was significant, well and truly in the double digits.” Ben Goodfellow, the founder of Tradie, says in an interview.
“I didn't know but I had a suspicion something was going on because I was booking our dates to film the next ad and very rapidly, we had a two-month block out period,” Goodfellow added. “I knew something was going on but they didn't disclose it before they should have, so they did the right thing. I was a bit surprised but in a good way.”
The brand of Tradie invests a lot of its budget on TV advertising. The company is working with its creative agency known as The Incubator.
Goodfellow believes that marketing on TV is the most effective investment for Tradie. “We've been on TV predominantly for the last 12 months, we are a small business so we have put a lot of money into some great ads and we think TV is the best way to go with it. At the beginning, we did a lot of outdoor, but once we switched to TV, we really went hard at it.”
After garnering much attention and fame as a result of starring in the new season of The Bachelor, Nick Cummins returned to Tradie to promote ‘Aussie Fit’ as the main ambassador of our brand.
The new promo ad features Nick Cummins alongside Danielle Scott and Charlotte Caslick in a variety of locations throughout Australia. These stars do not merely promote Tradie, but over the years, they have become passionate advocates of our brand and truly believe in the quality, comfort and style that we have to offer to our customers.
“Consumers see through brand ambassadors that aren't legit, that are just taking the pay-check.” Goodfellow says about his ambassadors. “The fact that we have a really legitimate and 100% real brand ambassador, that's what has differentiated us from the rest. That's why I think the people are really buying into our personality.”
